Goodbye Summer,Hello Fall

Είμαστε ακριβώς στην μέση του Σεμπτέβρη.Εκεί όπου αρχίζεις να συνειδητοποιείς πως ναι έφυγε το καλοκαίρι,έρχεται μια εντελώς καινούργια εποχή.Έχουν πέσει και οι πρώτες βροχές,συνθήκη που σε αναγκάζει να βάλεις τα σανδάλια σου βαθυά πίσω στην ντουλάπα.Όλοι οι σχεδιαστές ,καταστήματα παρουσιάζουν τις νεές τους κολεξιόν πράγμα που με κάνει να θέλω όλο και πολύ να χειμωνιάσει.H  Ρίνα, φίλη μου,μου έλεγε συνέχεια για το 3Floor.Όταν μπήκα στο website να δώ τι είναι αυτό που με τόσο ενθουσιασμό μου περιέγραφε κατάλαβα. Μοναδικά κομμάτια απο ένα ταλαντούχο απόφοιτο του Saint Martins που έφτιαξε αυτό το website και παρουσιάζει τισ μοναδικέσ δημιουργίεσ του.Παράξενοι συνδυασμοί υφασμάτων ,μινιμαλ γραμμές,κομμάτια που ξέρεις πως όταν τα φορέσεις θα νιώσεις ξεχωριστή και σε απίστευτα ´κανονικές´ τιμές για την ποιότητα που αγοράζεις.Τουλάχιστον εγώ αυτό ένιωσα .Μέχρι να ξεχωρίσω ένα κομμάτι πήγαινα στην επόμενη σελίδα και έβρισκα το επόμενο αγαπημένο μου.Στις επόμενες φωτογραφίες εγώ φορώντας ένα κομμάτι του απο την Κολλεξιόν Άνοιξη/Καλοκαίρι 2012 για να αποχερετήσουμε το καλοκαίρι που αν είχε χρώμα σιγουρα θα ηταν neon.Πραγματικά ανυπομονώ για την κολλεξιόν Φθινόπωρο/Χειμώνας που έρχεται.


Yes it's true! September is here! This is the time when you realise that summer is over and a new season begins. Soon or later-especially after the first rainfall you have to put your favourite summer sandals in the closet. This is also the time when all the fashion designers and high-street stores present their new collections making us craving the winter, chilly weather. A few days ago, I had a discussion with a good friend of mine and she kept mentioning a new online brand: 3 FLOOR. I was so curious to find out what she was babbling about! When I finally went home and I started checkng their website I realised why she was so excited and amazed. Beautiful, high-quality garments in fabulous fabric combinations that make you feel special, at affordable prices. After I checked every single item in the 3FLOOR website I realised that I just couldn't decide which piece I liked more. Without losing time I called my friend and I told her a brilliant idea: we should say goodbye to summer with a special photoshoot showing one of the most beautiful SS12 dresses from 3FLOOR. I chose the flare neoprene dress for one and only reason: If my summer had a colour, it would be NEON!
P.S. I can't begin to tell you how much I look forward to see the FW 12/13 collection tomorrow!  I literally count the minutes..but until then ENJOY!

Happy Fashion Season

Σεμπτέβρης!Fashion weeks,Fashion's night out στις μεγάλες πρωτεύουσες,αλλαγές στις γκανταρόμπες μας.Όλα τώρα!Get ready!
Eδώ κάποιες αγαπημενες μου φώτο απο backstage fashion show.Μια αδυναμία σ´αυτό που λέμε Greek Beauty την έχω.Πανέμορφα πρόσωπα,καταπληκτικά σώματα και πάνω απο όλα υπέροχοι χαρακτήρες.Γιατί της έζησα σε μέρες δύσκολες ,κουραστικές και το χαμόγελο απο τα πρόσωπα τους το κέφι δεν έλειπε ποτέ.

Tο πρώτο χρυσό μετάλλειο της Ελλάδας στους παραολυμπιακούς του Λονδίνου 2012.Στο άθλημα Μπότσια οι Ελένη Κορδαλή, Γρηγόρης Πολυχρονίδης,Νίκος Πανανός.Μας κάνατε πραγματικά περήφανους.

Να ζήσουν οι μεγάλες αγάπες!

Είναι κάτι αγάπες τρελλές,έντονες γεμάτες σκαμπανεβάσματα.Γεμάτες κύκλους που ήτε ανοιγοκλείνουνε ήτε κλείνουν οριστικά.Και μιλάω για αγάπη που μένει όταν ο έρωτας φεύγει,(η δεν φέυγει).Τον έρωτα δεν τον ορίζεις είναι κάτι που έμαθα για τα καλά.Έρχεται και σε κτυπάει ,σε στέλνει η στον πάτο ή στα ουράνια.Αλλη επιλογή δεν υπάρχει.Αυτές οι αγάπες σε κάνουν μόνο καλύτερο άνθρωπο.Δεν υπάρχει νόημα να αγαπάς και να μην το δείχνεις,να ποθείς και να μην προσπαθείς,να πληγώνεσαι και να μην "παραπονιέσαι".Βρίσκεις μια δύναμη να κάνεις πράγματα που δεν φανταζόσουν ποτέ πως μπορείς να κάνεις η να πέις.Και μπορείς να αρκείσαι με τα λίγα αν και στο μυαλό σου θες πάντα κάτι παραπάνω.Αλλά ευχαριστιέσαι μόνο να μπορέις να τον έχεις στην ζωή σου,η κάθε ανάμνηση είναι εμπειρία,έιναι απ' αυτές που σκέφτεσαι και χαμογελάς.Δένεσαι μ´αυτό τον άνθρωπο χωρίς στην ουσία να έχεις ζήσει πολλά.Τον γουστάρεις.Κι 'αυτό δεν είναι πάντα αμοιβαίο ,τότε θα ήταν όλα ρόδινα.Θα ζωγραφίζαμε πεταλούδες και ροζ συννεφάκια.Και να ξέρεις αυτός που σε αντέχει σε στιγμές που λυγίζεις στον χειρότερο σου εαυτό είναι ο πιο σπουδάιος. Είναι αγάπη μεγάλη,μπορέι όχι ερωτική,αλλά αγάπη.Και κάποιες φορές η ζωή ίσως τα φέρει έτσι που πρέπει να απομακρυνθείς ,να αναπνεύσεις,να αναπνεύσει ,αυτός όμως κυριαρχέι στο μυαλό σου με όμορφες στιγμές μόνο,γιατι οι κακές έχουν χαθεί.Είναι καλύτερα να έχεις αγαπήσει και να έχεις χάσει παρα να μην έχεις αγαπήσει καθόλου.Η αγάπη ειναι για τους γενναίους,αυτούς που έχουν δύναμη να παλέψουν ,να προσπαθήσουν χωρίς να ξέρουν το αποτέλεσμα.Έτσι έιναι η αγάπη πως να το κάνουμε. Όχι δεν έχω μάθει να πονώ,έχω μάθει να αγαπώ χωρίς όρια.Καλώς η κακώς θα φανεί στην πορεία.Έυχομαι σε όλους να το ζήσουν έστω μια φορα.Να ταρακουνηθέι όλο τους το έιναι.Τίποτα στην ζωή δεν έιναι ευκολο ,ούτε μας ανήκει. Έγω έχω βγεί νικήτρια μέσα απο αυτό. Σημαντικός άνθρωπος έχει μπεί γαι πάντα στην καρδιά μου.Εκεί τουλάχιστον είναι ολόδικος μου.Στην δική του καρδιά άβυσσοσ αλλά εκεί είναι όλη η μαγεία.Να ζήσουν οι μεγάλες αγάπες λοιπόν και οι ανεκπλήρωτοι έρωτες.

One last look at the summer that lasted forever.

"Tans fade,highlights go dark and we all get sick of sand in our shoes.But the end of summer is the beginning of a new season.So we find ourselves looking to the future. You aint seen nothing yet."Αυτή είναι η φράση που εκφράζει το δικό μου καλοκαίρι.

Αυτό το καλοκαίρι θα το περίγραφα ως μεταβατικό,με τις δυσκολίες του,τις εκπλήξεις και τις ευτυχισμένες στιγμές του. Λίγο καιρό πριν μου δόθηκε η ευκαιρία να συνεργαστώ με ενα ταλαντούχο δημιουργό τον Γρηγόρη Εγγλέζο. Μεταξύ μας δημιουργήθηκε μια όμορφη σχέση που αποδυκνίεται πολύ δημιουργική. Για πρώτη φορά δημιουργεί αντρική κολεξίον. Βλέπωντας τα ρούχα του μας ήρθε μια ιδέα. Πήρα τηλέφωνο τους ταλαντούχους φίλους μου,ο καθένας στον δικό του τομέα και μετά απο μέρες δουλείας το αποτέλεσμα είναι αυτο.

You aint seen nothing yet."This quote represents my summer.It was transitional  and suprising at the same time with its ups and downs. Few months ago I had the opportunity to work with a very talanted desinger Mr G.Englezos.I'm a huge admirer of his work so when he told me that he was going to present his  first menswear collection this summer I couldn't resist working with him once again.I immediately called my talanted  best friends -each one in his on field- and after loads of days working and working and working...(!) here we are ...This is IT!Sit back relax and  enjoy !xo

Life has a secret.

"Enjoy the power and the beauty of your youth,

You will not understand the power and beuaty of your youth until they have faded.

But trust me,

In 20 years you 'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now

how much possibility lay before you,and how fabulous you really looked!

You are not as fat as you imagine.

Don't worry about the future or worry,but know that worrying is as effective trying 

to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.

The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind,

the kind that blindsides you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing every day ,that scares you.

SING.

Don't be reckless with other people's hearts,

don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

FLOSS

Don't waste your time on jealously, sometimes you are ahead 

sometimes you are behind.

The race is long and in the end, it's only with yourself.

Remember compliments you receive,

forget the insults.

If you succeed in doing this,tell me how.

Keep your old love letters,

throw away your old bank statements.

STRETCH.

Don't feel guilty if you don't know what to do with your life.

The most interesting people i know didn't know at 22 what

they wanted to do with their lives..

Some of the most interesting 40 year old i know still don't.

Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees,you 'll miss them when they're gone.

Maybe you 'll marry,maybe you won't.

Maybe you 'll have children, maybe you won't.

Maybe you have a devorse at 40..Maybe you 'll dance the

funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary.

What ever you do, don't congratulate your self too much

or berate yourself either.

Your choices are half chance,so are everybody else's.

Enjoy your BODY,use it every way you can,DON'T be afraid of it

or what other people think of it, it's the GREATEST INSTRUMENT 

You will ever own.

DANCE

Even if you have nowhere to do it

but in your own living room.

Read the directions even if you don't follow them.

Do not read beauty magazines,they will only make you feel ugly.

GET TO KNOW your parents, you never know when the 'll be

gone for good.

BE nice to your siblings.They are the best link to your past and the people

most likely to stick with in the future.

Understand that FRIENDS come and go,but for the precious few you should hold on.

Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography in lifestyle, because the older you get,

the more you need the people you knew when you were young.

Live in NY city once,but leave before it makes you hard.

Live in Northern California once,but leave before it makes you soft.

TRAVEL.

Accept  certain inalienable truths.Prices will rise ,politicians will philander,

you too will get old, and when you do you 'll fantasize that when you were young

prices were reasonable,politicians were noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don't expect anyone else to support you.

Maybe you have a trust fund,maybe you 'll have a wealthy spouse,

but you never know when either one might run out.

Don't mess too much with your hair,or by the time you 're 40,it 

will look 85.

Be careful whose advise you buy,but be patient with those who supply it.

Advise is a form of nostalgia,dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal ,

wiping it off,painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth."
